Catastrophic Leave Bank
Article 17.14 of our CBA explains our catastrophic sick leave (CSL) bank. When an ATA member or a member of their family suffers a “long-term, severe, incapacitating illness or injury”, you are eligible to draw on the sick days that other members have donated to this bank. In order to be eligible to draw on the CSL bank, you must have worked at least 75% of one school year, have accumulated at least 5 sick days, and have donated at least one sick day to the bank.”
